1.  For first-time use; there is some natural diatomite powder on the surface which is normal.
2.  After using for a period, please place the diatomite product in a well-ventilated area. 
3.  Please prevent soaking under water for long periods from accelerated wear and tear.
4.  If the product gets dirty, please use wet cloth, sponge or cold water to clean and scrub off the stains. 
5.  Please avoid diatomite product to contact with oil. If it is infected with oil, please use sponge to clean the stained part quickly.
6.  The mats are made by natural diatomite, which means it doesn't contain asbestos or other harmful substances.
     The dark dots that appeared on the surface of the diatomite mat are not stain but natural algae residue.
